Conference Award Update

We are excited to share updates regarding the two available award opportunities for our conference participants: the Young Researcher Award and the Travel Award.

Young Researcher Award:

We received over 180 applications for the Young Researcher Award.

Based on the abstract and review reports, 34 papers have been shortlisted. Authors of shortlisted papers are invited to submit full papers by May 15th (Note: Submitting a revised or expanded version of your ICMPC17-APSCOM7 full paper to a journal is not prohibited, provided that you introduce originality or enhance the content and the target journal accepts these conditions. However, it is required to explicitly reference the conference paper as a source. The same conditions apply if the paper is translated into another language.).

Each submission will undergo review by three program committee members to further refine the shortlist based on scientific quality, novelty, and overall impression (writing, presentation, cohesion) of research.

An independent committee comprising Renee Timmers, Shinichiro Iwamiya, and Laura Cirelli will evaluate the final papers and select up to three awardees.

Travel Award:

We received over 170 applications for the Travel Award. Reviewers considered the scientific merits of each applicant based on their quality of research, country of residence and financial situation. The selected awardees can contact Kai Hiraiwa () for further details regarding their award.
