「音楽と感情」研究会について

このページでは、本学会で過去に行われた「音楽と感情」研究会について、開催の経緯や活動記録等を掲載しています。本ページの文章を作成くださったのは、大串健吾先生です。（ページ作成　2011年5月）

1．研究会の発足

　平成14年11月23日の日本音楽知覚認知学会理事会において、理事の大串健吾・山田真司から「現在、社会的に強い関心が持たれている音楽と情動についての勉強会を行いたいこと、また将来それをベースにした学会でのシンポジウムを考えたい」との提案がなされ承認されたので、「音楽と感情」研究会と名づけ、大串健吾(代表)、山田真司（幹事）を中心として、京都を中心とした地域で活動をはじめることとなった。なお、荒川恵子が会場手配を担当し、三浦雅展が幹事補佐を担当した。

2．運営方針

1) Juslin & Sloboda (Eds.) : Music and Emotion: Theory and Research
　　(Oxford University Press, 2001) の各章を担当者を決めてレポートする。
2) 参加者が過去に行った音楽と感情に関する研究を紹介する。
3) 週１回、日曜日の午後に開催する。

3．研究会の実施

　準備会を平成15年3月26日および5月3日にキャンパスプラザ京都にて行った。
その後、18回の研究会を、主として京都女子大学（世話人：荒川恵子）において、平成17年9月18日までほぼ2年６カ月にわたり開催した。参加者は平均すると各回15～20人程度であった。

  1. P. N. Juslin & J. A. Sloboda eds., Music and Emotionの輪読と「音楽と感情」の関連研究の発表等が一応終了したので、音楽と感情のさまざまな問題について、自由討論を行った。

4．翻訳出版

　最終的には研究会の成果を翻訳出版しようということになり、出版社3社と交渉を行ったが、出版業界の不況の影響で全訳出版は量が多すぎて無理ということであったので、残念ではあったが音楽の知覚・認知に特に関連の深い章だけを翻訳出版することとした。章の選択は、編者のJuslinと相談して決定した。
　最終的には、全20章の中から12章を、「音楽と感情の心理学」という表題で、誠信書房から平成20年10月31日に出版した。なお、22年1月に第2刷発行となった。
